Project ManagerWe are partnered with an amazing Machine Tool Builder in their search for a Project Manager in Arlington Heights, IL! This position is responsible for leading multiple manufacturing and capital machinery projects through the full lifecyclefrom proposal and quoting to installation and sign offensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan resources, manage risks, maintain clear communication, and drive continuous improvement across complex projects.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-sales (proposal and/or quoting) stage through customer acceptance/completionPlan and execute all phases of projects, including labor scheduling, material sourcing, budgeting, and timelinesPartner cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and control project documentation; own all communications regarding project plansIdentify, mitigate, and resolve project risks, challenges, and obstaclesMonitor and evaluate project progress to identify performance improvement opportunitiesDemonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to achieving project objectivesTravel up to 20% to customer locations as neededPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; relevant experience may also be considered in lieu of educational requirementsCAPM certification and/or PMP certification highly preferred5+ years of related experience in manufacturing project management or comparable PM roles5+ years of experience planning and directing manpower and/or material resourcesAdvanced knowledge of close-tolerance CNC machining and related metrologyUnderstanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication systems, and electrical circuits preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS ProjectExperience working within ERP systems and CRM platforms; Epicor E11 and Salesforce highly preferredTravel up to 20% based on business needs
