Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

Pay Rate: $20/hour-$21/hour, based on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week, 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday -Thursday

Length: Temporary to hire

Location: Appleton, WI (on-site)

Requirements: 

• Manufacturing Quality Assurance experience required
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• Food industry experience is a plus
• Word and Excel skills, any ERP knowledge is a plus 
• Must be okay working on the plant floor at times
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Detailed and accurate, quick learner and demonstrate initiative

Requirements: 

• Gather and test finished product samples for moisture, fat content and send samples to the outside lab for testing 
• Keep spreadsheets up to date
• Create Certificates of analysis reports from the test results sent by the lab
• Walkthrough production rooms following guidelines and SOP’s 
• Spot checking the product for quality.  Check for seals, best by dates are correct, etc.
• Work with management, customers, and vendors regarding any complaints 
• Order environmental testing supplies
