The Electrical Product Development Engineer at Frazer reports to the Engineering Manager, and is responsible for accurately, quickly, and effectively selecting, vetting, designing, testing, and implementing new features or functionality to enhance the capabilities, reliability, or the ease of use of systems on mobile healthcare vehicles How Performance is Evaluated Communication and collaboration are key and we encourage an environment filled with positive feedback and constructive criticism, to unleash your potential for real professional growth! Research, select, and recommend systems and technologies in line with strategic priorities for new product features and functionality Design and analyze new systems and technologies Write project specifications by which success or failure of developed technologies may be evaluated Produce schematics to document developed systems Acquire, build, program, and prototype use of new systems and technologies Design test plans to verify functionality and reliability to specification Conduct tests for product verification Support production engineering throughout the commercialization process to implement the new features or functionality in production release products Health Care Insurance (100% paid for by the company for all employees) Dental Benefit options 401k plan with a company match! Engineering or at least 10 years experience in a comparable role Experience with 2D / 3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Inventor B.S. Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering from an ABET-accredited university Practical experience in 12VDC and 120VAC electrical circuits and troubleshooting. Some experience in controls and automation Self-sufficient and autonomous.
