We are recruiting for a Manufacturing & Quality Engineering Manager.JOB DESCRIPTION:Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering & Quality Manager to lead engineering and quality teams in Angola, Indiana. This role requires a seasoned leader with expertise in both quality and engineering management, who is motivated to grow within a company dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.As the Engineering & Quality Manager, you will oversee both engineering and quality departments, manage major manufacturing projects, and ensure production targets are met. They are committed to advancing patient care by partnering with top orthopedic companies to design and manufacture innovative surgical products.Their vision is to be the trusted technical leader and preferred outsourcing partner in developing and manufacturing advanced surgical products for orthopedic companies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEngineering & Quality Leadership:• Lead process and quality engineers in designing, developing, and modifying products to meet and exceed customer standards.• Oversee product development, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering at the Angola facility.Project and Production Management:• Direct strategic product launches and collaborate closely with clients to optimize design and manufacturability.• Manage key manufacturing projects to ensure alignment with production targets and support company growth initiatives.Efficiency & Environmental Initiatives:• Drive continuous process improvement efforts and explore ways to reduce the facility’s environmental footprint.• Attend and lead budget-focused meetings to maintain cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.Team Development:• Foster a high-performance culture within the engineering and quality teams, setting high standards and providing regular coaching.• Delegate and assign tasks effectively to enhance team productivity and individual growth.QUALIFICATIONSEducation:• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, business administration, or a related field.Experience:• Five or more years of engineering management experience, with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes and product launches.Knowledge:• Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards is highly preferred.BENEFITS• Market-competitive medical, vision, and dental benefits from day one.• Life and disability insurance (short- and long-term).• A robust 401(k) plan with both matching and non-matching company contributions.• Paid time off, including annual PTO and company-paid holidays.
