Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a Delavan manufacturing company, is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Tech to join the team.

$18-19 per hour; based on experience

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet required drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards. This position performs inspections on first pieces, in-process, and final materials to verify accuracy and prevent the release of defective products.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards

  • Verify documentation and certification requirements for products received from suppliers, and notify the appropriate individuals of any discrepancies or deviations from drawings or purchase order requirements.
  • Perform first-run inspections from manufacturing to ensure all quality specifications are met and accurate before completing the run.
  • Utilize micrometers, indicators, CMM, and other measurement devices for inspections.
  • Follow all safety protocols by using proper PPE and maintaining housekeeping standards.
  • Adhere to PSS Quality Standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is primarily based in the Quality Lab. Employees may be required to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods of time. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs at a time, and good hand dexterity is essential. All employees must use proper personal protective equipment and actively participate in company safety training programs.

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience using hand-held and various measuring devices for product inspection.

Skills

  • Blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • CMM experience preferred.

Other

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8-10 hours per day
