Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and committed Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities and a dedication to quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to maintain efficient workflow and meet production schedules.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train, mentor, and assess team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize production efficiency and address operational challenges.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, quality issues, and employee performance.
  • Communication: Conduct regular team meetings to share goals, updates, and resolve any team concerns.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with team members across various levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software systems is preferred.
  • Preferred Background: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
