Job Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer to provide direct support to our production team in a medical device manufacturing environment. This position requires hands-on involvement with production processes, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.

• Production Equipment Evaluation: Assess and validate production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Production Support: Provide on-site support to operators, assisting with manual assembly and troubleshooting as needed.
• Process Validation: Validate and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Documentation: Generate and modify manufacturing process documentation, including protocols and reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to develop and implement process improvements.
• Defect Investigations: Conduct investigations into manufacturing defects and contribute to root cause analysis.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required; engineering degree highly preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing is required. Operations line support experience is essential.
• Skills:
  • Strong mechanical understanding and familiarity with material interactions.
  • Problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis.
  • Experience with SAP or Windchill is a plus.
