CytoRecovery is a leader in next generation live cell sorting and recovery solutions. Our CytoR1 product system improves the speed and precision of the sorting, enrichment, and recovery of live cells from tissue and other biological samples. Our technology can be used to quickly isolate, enrich, and recover rare, distinct cell populations, enabling their downstream analysis, including their response to therapeutics. Our technology is “label-free,” can achieve cell sorting in minutes, and is compatible with other cell assay workflows.

Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Technician will report to the Chief Scientific Officer, and have the following responsibilities:

  • CytoChip (microfluidics) manufacturing and fabrication for current and prototype product lines.
  • Providing input for the design and engineering of the CytoChip product line.
  • Management and ownership of all disposables manufacturing to fulfill customer shipments, collaboration projects, and internal R&D.
  • Maintenance of all manufacturing area spaces.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of protocols, procedures, and quality control for all manufactured disposables.
  • Fulfill and deliver all manufactured products per customer orders and projects on time and with high quality control implementation.
  • Maintain high quantity and quality manufacturing of all product designs required given shifting company priorities.
  • In our dynamic startup environment, you may also be asked to complete additional research, logistics, and coordination tasks as determined by and agreed upon with the CSO.

  • Minimum of 20-25 hours/week required with opportunity for additional growth.
  • Available for in-person work required.
  • Ability to execute repetitive tasks with meticulous documentation and high quality control standards required.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize required.
  • Effective and ethical work habits with excellent communication skills required.
  • Strong commitment towards working as a team in a dynamic environment required.

Preferred Work Experience

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and industrial systems preferred.
