Overview Job Title: Manufacturing Laboratory Technician Location: Walpole, MA 02032 Work arrangement: 100% onsite Duration: 12 months Contract Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Base pay range $25.00/hr - $27.22/hr Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Laboratory Technician, I you will be responsible for: Execution of instructions to manufacture chemical and biological reagents Record and audit information (e.g. batch records, log book) Analyze data against predetermined requirements Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment (e.g., pH and conductivity meters) Lab duties as required (e.g. restocking and sanitizing workstations) Use of SAP software for production transactions and inventory control Exhibiting knowledge and use of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) Exhibiting knowledge and use of current good documentation practices (GDP) Maintaining compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and FDA requirements Developing technical skills with the support of biochemists and management This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) controlled materials Required Skills Minimum of an Associate’s degree with a concentration in science (biochemistry, biology, chemistry, etc.) Excellent organization and time management skills Excellent work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work individually and in a team setting Role requires ability to bend, squat down, and lift up to 20 pounds on their own Role requires ability to push/pull large tanks (with assistance) and to stand for extended periods of time Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) Must pass a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) background check Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Previous experience working in a cGMP manufacturing laboratory, or a similar laboratory environment preferred Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Manufacturing and Science Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Medical Equipment Manufacturing, and Biotechnology Research #J-18808-Ljbffr
