Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing / Production Lines2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMFull-Time | Competitive Compensation | Growth Opportunity Position OverviewB&W Quality Growers is expanding our Maintenance Team and seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support our production and processing operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and commissioning equipment across manufacturing and production lines. This role is ideal for a technician with strong mechanical and electrical experience in manufacturing environments who can troubleshoot, repair, replace, and install equipment on live production lines. You will play a key role in maintaining uptime, improving reliability, and ensuring safe operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair production and processing line equipment during active operationsInstall, replace, and align motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, chains, belts, and drive systemsDiagnose electrical and control issues including 3-phase systems, panels, sensors, PLCs, and VFDsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment uptimeSupport line startups, shutdowns, and changeoversRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentationComplete CMMS work orders accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with all safety and food-grade operational standards Qualifications & Technical ExperienceEducation & Experience3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or food-grade production environmentsPacking house or production line experience preferredMinimum 1 year as a Maintenance Technician I or completion of formal industrial maintenance trainingIndustrial Maintenance certification or technical schooling requiredMechanical & Electrical SkillsStrong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting experience (motors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyor systems)Experience repairing and commissioning production line equipmentSolid electrical troubleshooting skills including 3-phase power and control systemsWorking knowledge of PLCs and VFDsPLC diagnostics and programming experience required (Allen Bradley preferred)Required Equipment ExperienceAmmonia refrigeration systemsAir and refrigeration compressorsIndustrial conveyor and belt systemsHVAC systemsIndustrial ice machinesBoilers Work Environment & Physical RequirementsIndustrial manufacturing settingExposure to cold environments (32–40°F), indoor production areas, and outdoor conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
