Job Title: Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician

Location: Oceanside, CA (on-site)

Duration: 12 month contract

Pay rate: $18-22/hr

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization is seeking a Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician to support the production of life‑saving medicines in a highly automated, cGMP‑regulated environment. This is a contract role with potential for permanent conversion.

What You’ll Do

• Operate, clean, and sterilize manufacturing equipment following SOPs and batch records
• Support manufacturing activities across Production Services, Upstream, or Downstream Manufacturing
• Perform raw material dispensing, solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and filtration activities
• Prepare media and buffers, operate chromatography systems, and support harvest operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and support environmental monitoring
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and cGMP requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and safety‑focused
• Ability to follow technical procedures and document work accurately
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with full gowning
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills
• Willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: Associate’s degree, Life Sciences/Engineering degree, or Biotech certificate
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft & Google platforms)
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a large manufacturing facility

Shift Information

• 10‑ and 12‑hour day, swing, and night shifts available
• 24/7 manufacturing operation; open availability preferred
• Initial onboarding includes 3–4 weeks of weekday training
