We will consider all experience levels for this position. Entry-level candidates with demonstrated aptitude and a desire to learn will be given all the necessary training to be successful in this role. Experienced candidates will receive brand-specific training for the products we sell. All candidates will have the opportunity for a long-term career with advancement and above average earnings potential.

This repair and maintenance position earns a competitive wage of $18 - $32 per hour, depending on experience. We provide fantastic benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k), paid vacation and personal time, employee discounts, and opportunities for continued job training. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARINE TECHNICIAN
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks such as winterizations, spring services, and oil changes on customer boats.
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections and setup on new and used boats.
  • Recondition used trade-in boats and make ready for sale including buffing and minor gelcoat restoration.
  • Diagnose and complete repairs on customer boats using basic tools and company-provided advanced service and diagnostic equipment.
  • Assist customers with parking and hitching/unhitching trailers
  • Move boats safely and efficiently around the dealership with tractors
  • Complete on-water lake tests and validations using company-owned service trucks
  • Conduct service calls to customer locations for simple repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain a neat workspace
  • Help out with lake tests, grabbing tools, lifting seats/motor boxes, etc. for other techs
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MARINE TECHNICIAN
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Possess the needed hand tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good health and physical mobility
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
