Corporate Clinical Resource Specialis t is responsible for providing support to current regional leadership by sitting in vacant leadership seats such as the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Quality Management, and Nurse Manager. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting with operational opportunities and at times will be required to participate in acquisitions and new development projects. This position requires up to 80% travel across the PAM Health network of hospitals. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is an exempt position. Assist with operational opportunities and at times participate in acquisitions and new development projects. Maintain knowledge of state, federal, and local laws and regulations that impact hospital/clinic operations. Demonstrate a working knowledge of accreditation requirements, especially TJC. Coordinate implementation of the hospital’s performance/outcomes improvement plan, consistent with system-wide QAPI plans. Serve as chairman for the hospital QAPI committee and assure all minutes and reports of assigned committees are complete and available in a timely manner. Manage the occurrence monitoring system and ensure timely investigation of incidents to minimize risk to the hospital. Prepare agenda and minutes for meetings, to include QAPI, MEC, and Governing Board. Responsible for completing the intracycle monitoring process. Facilitate the development of the post survey Plan of Corrections. Manage the patient satisfaction program; assure that patient complaints are heard and acted upon in a timely fashion to maximize satisfaction and minimize risk. Direct all nursing service activities. Maintain a system to determine and provide adequate staffing for provision of appropriate nursing care. Implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health guidelines and accreditation standards. Assure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of charge capture and rentals. Implement strategies to improve nursing service functions. Implement, supervise, and coordinate nursing services by ensuring evaluation, treatment, and re‑evaluation are timely; assuring discharge planning; reviewing and revising policies and procedures as necessary; and reviewing the program on an annual basis. This position requires 80% travel. Education And Training Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners in Colorado. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, requirement. Masters, preferred. Specialty certification, licensure or experience preferred. Minimum Work Experience Minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing, clinical or quality leadership role required.
