Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- This role will be part of a team of Marketing Communications (Marcom) professionals supporting several client businesses across the client's place.
- The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead the processes and strategy for executing tradeshows and events for Smart Infrastructure in collaboration with Marcom and business counterparts.
- The role will be executing various Marketing Communications activities, including, but not limited to creation of marketing collateral, website, and sales enablement resources.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Managing the annual tradeshow and events calendar
- Manage and refine tradeshow and events processes
- Develop tradeshow strategy based on business objectives and defining KPIs
- Plan and execute assigned tradeshows and events throughout the year independently
- Manage tradeshow budgets
- Collaborate with external tradeshow vendors/suppliers
- Manage tradeshow leads within our Salesforce database
- Using surveys and lead analysis, evaluate the effectiveness of tradeshows and events and recommend any needed improvements
- Determine the effectiveness of marketing materials from the tradeshows resulting in ROI measure
- Create all types of marketing collateral
Required travel:
- Traveling would be required to support any of our shows nationally, all around the client's place to set up and tear down tradeshow booths and manage events.
- Depending on how many shows/events it could be once a month or even more than once a month.
- Travel expenses are paid for by client for this (airline ticket, rental car, hotel, food ).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field
- 5+ years' experience managing all aspects of tradeshows and events
- Exceptional project management skills
- Team player
- Highly motivated
- Good communicator
- Ability to work across a matrix organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
