About the Opportunity CareerTakes is sourcing on behalf of a growing organization seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Social Media Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in content creation, digital storytelling, and campaign execution across both online and print platforms. You’ll play a key role in building brand visibility, engaging audiences, and supporting integrated marketing initiatives. If you enjoy creating content that actually drives engagement — and want real ownership in a fast-moving environment — this could be a strong next step. What You’ll Do Social Media & Content Creation Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing goals Create, schedule, and publish content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) Capture photo and video content on-site for digital use Design graphics and edit short- and long-form video content Monitor trends and recommend ideas to increase reach and engagement Manage community engagement across channels Track performance using social analytics tools and Google Analytics Maintain brand consistency across all platforms Marketing & Campaign Support Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print channels Coordinate deadlines with designers, printers, and vendors Create and distribute brochures, flyers, digital ads, and promotional materials Update website content for accuracy and relevance Maintain organized marketing asset library (photo, video, artwork, ads) Assist with events, trade shows, and community outreach Track campaign timelines and support the Marketing Manager with deliverables Manage inventory of promotional items Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years of experience in social media or marketing support (internships included) Experience creating and editing short- and long-form video content Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity with social media analytics and digital marketing tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally About CareerTakes CareerTakes partners with innovative employers to connect qualified professionals with meaningful career opportunities.
