Student Advanced Level Requisition ID req30511 Working Title Marketing Assistant Pay $17.00 Hourly Campus Main - Albuquerque, NM Department Off Campus Work Study (454F) Employment Type Student Employment Student Type Status Non-Exempt Background Check Required No For Best Consideration Date 8/19/2024 Position Summary Organization: Fusion Theatre Company Location: 700-708 1st St NW Albuquerque, NM 87102 An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST HAVE A WORK-STUDY AWARD FUSIONis hiring for a Marketing Assistant to report to the Communications Director tohelp execute marketing and communications for this vibrant center of arts andculture. FUSION,home to the FUSION Theatre Company, is a center for arts and culture inDowntown Albuquerque.Our multi-venue, 35,000 square foot campus hosts live music, dance, comedy,theater, andmyriad special events. With three stages and both indoor and outdoor eventspaces, FUSION is NewMexico's home for creative and cultural exploration. The Marketing Assistantwill work closely withFUSION's Communications Director to help extend the reach of our story. Withover twenty years as New Mexico's professional theatre company, and a bustlingcampus with events across a widerange of disciplines, there are a lot of stories to tell! Theideal candidate for this position is highly organized, self-motivated, andskilled at working in a dynamicenvironment. Candidate needs to be well versed in social media and websiteupdate processes. Must be a talented self-starter. A strong eye for design andthe ability to create both written and visual marketing materials incollaboration with the Communications Director is appreciated. This positionhelps execute social media campaigns and website development working closelywith the Communications Director and may include other tasks required by theCommunications Director. Regular Zoom meetings will be required. MainTasks: -AssistCommunications Director with marketing and event promotion for visiting artistsand event organizers across social media platforms -Collaboratewith Communications Director to create and enhance event descriptions -Makerequested updates to website (Squarespace) MaySometimes Assist With: -Creatinggraphics and event marketing materials as needed (Canva) -Uploadingevents to community calendars -Creatingslideshows and/or other multimedia of current and upcoming events (Canva) -Collaboratingon the design of programs & event-related materials Thisis a work study eligible position only, and potential candidates must applythrough UNM Jobs. Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
