Overview DeanHouston+ has more than 30 years in B2B marketing, with four offices across the country – Cincinnati, Chicago, Los Angeles and Nashville. Our Chicago office is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to help in lead generation, web-based marketing automation and CRM data management. You will be responsible for building, analyzing, proofing and launching sales-focused digital campaigns, and help structure the resulting data to empower sales teams, for a wide variety of industrial clients. We have found great success with Marketing Automation Specialists who have the following characteristics: Analytical: You enjoy using data to evaluate campaign performance and uncover opportunities for improvement, balancing creativity with insight-driven decision making. Organized: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing and optimizing marketing automation for multiple clients with strong attention to detail. Strong Communicator: You clearly explain recommendations and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Curiously Driven: You enjoy learning new industries and diving into clients’ products and markets, especially within manufacturing and industrial sectors. Responsibilities Marketing Automation: You will help build, analyze, proof and launch email- and form-based marketing automation campaigns. You’ll collaborate with account management and marketing managers to provide recommendations and make sure all campaign activity, website forms and automation-specific tracking codes are functioning properly. CRM Data Architecture: At DH+ we strive to drive both marketing and sales performance on behalf of our clients. Learning how to wrangle complex marketing data sets, and transfer them into easy-to-use, actionable information for our clients’ sales teams is how you’ll add value to the complete commercial equation. Analytics and Metrics: You will assist in primary source-data platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot/Salesforce Marketing Cloud,, Google Tag Manager, etc.) and actively monitor clients’ digital data. When there is any unusual activity or deviations from expected performance, you’ll act as the first line of defense. Regularly pulling lead generation reports with relevant data based on strategic plans is another critical job duty for this position. Strategy: You’ll help in the development of marketing growth strategies to find how DeanHouston can build clients’ brands – helping with customer personas and inbound marketing principles to come up with creative ways to shine a spotlight on our clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics or Marketing-Related field Experience Needed: 0-4 years Knowledge In: Marketing Automation (HubSpot, Marketo or SFMC experience is a huge plus), CRM mechanics, Email Marketing, Metric Reporting, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Digital Marketing Theory (Customer Personas and Segmentation, Inbound Marketing Principles, etc.), Excel Nice to Have Experience: SEO, Basic HTML, Market Research, Google AdWords, Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics, Tableau or Power BI, SQL Benefits We are committed to building a healthy, resilient, rewarding culture from the inside out.
