Victory Junction is a year-round camp facility that provides fully accessible on-site and off-site programming for children living with complex medical and physical needs at no cost to their families. Victory Junction's adaptive, intentional programming includes summer camp, family weekends, day programs, equine therapy, pediatric patient outreach, and partner programs. By removing all barriers, Victory Junction welcomes children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions to experience camp fun, all in a medically-safe environment. Victory Junction is a member of SeriousFunChildren's Network and is accredited by the American Camp Association. The Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for planning and implementing the organization’s internal and external communication strategies through social media, website, advertising, media relations, newsletters, and digital media content. Manage Victory Junction’s social media channels, including supporting strategies and objectives, content creation, scheduling, and interacting with engaged followers Engage in social listening on social media channels, including discovery and execution of current trends while also adhering to and improving our DEI presence online Execute digital advertising strategies to create social media advertising and Google Ads campaigns to support brand awareness, camper and staff recruitment, and fundraising efforts Collaborate with a cross-functional team to plan and implement broad-based communication, solicitation, and recruitment strategies Consult with other departments to provide detailed monthly analyses of social media to inform department-specific plans Ensure that all communications comply with Victory branding and messaging standards Write and distribute press releases Assist with other content creation, copywriting, proofreading materials, etc. Other duties as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field At least 2 years' experience working in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and other marketing tools Excellent analytical skills and a thorough understanding of data analysis Strong written and verbal communication skills Skilled in writing and editing content with attention to detail Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills Familiarity with WordPress is helpful but not required Prospective employees meet medical requirements as a condition of employment.
