POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Coordinator role operates within the Marketing team and will have a combination of support and project responsibilities that are both creative and analytical in nature. The Marketing Coordinator will require an understanding of consumer-packaged goods and will create content for social media platforms, manage product graphics/messaging, and generate written content for internal and external usage. Knowledge of data analytics is a plus. If you are a creative and analytical thinker, this may be the role for you.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Strategy and Content Management:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across multiple platforms (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Create and curate engaging, high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts without solely relying on the use of AI.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and inform future strategies.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, PR, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders.
  • Manage website blog posts.
  • Social media channel and content management.
    • Update social media channels to ensure a consistent brand image.
    • Develop monthly content calendar for social media channels based on overall brand strategy and marketing objectives.

Packaging Coordination:

  • Tracking and organizing product packaging for specific retail channels.
  • Directing the creation and organization of packaging assets, including templates, graphics, and images.
  • Support marketing objectives as needed to support company's overall growth.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Management preferred.
  • Two years of training or experience in marketing or CPG product development.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft suite and graphic design software such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee must regularly walk, stand, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms. Must frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. Must be able to wear PPE and work in an environment that may be noisy, dusty, or exposed to varying temperatures. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a combination of an office environment and working outdoors. As part of the scope of this role minimal duties may include being inside the plant manufacturing environment, which may include high levels of noise. When working outdoors conditions can include extreme cold, heat, or humidity; and sometimes can include work in dusty conditions.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may lift and/or move up to fifty pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception. The employee will, at times, be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as designated by the company.
