SUMMARY:
The Marketing Intern will assist the CCRES leadership team in developing and implementing marketing and communication efforts that support recruitment, branding, and community engagement. This position is designed to provide practical experience in a professional nonprofit setting while offering flexibility for student schedules.
- Paid internship, effective immediately
- Flexible 10–15 hours per week
- Hourly pay rate: $18.00/hour
MARKETING INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft and schedule social media posts across multiple platforms
- Support email and digital marketing campaigns
- Assist with basic graphic design (flyers, visuals, event materials) using Canva or similar tools
- Update website content and help maintain the marketing content calendar
- Track engagement metrics and prepare simple reports
- Provide event support and contribute creative ideas for outreach
- Collaborate with staff on special projects that enhance CCRES’s brand and visibility
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Current West Chester University student majoring in Marketing, Communications, Media, or Business (or a related field)
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, or email marketing tools is a plus
- Interest in marketing for nonprofit, education, or community impact organizations
CREDENTIALING :

- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
