About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead activations and hospitality experiences that bring the DoorDash brand to life across the U.S. In this role, you'll oversee the planning and execution of large-scale events tied to our NBA, WNBA, and basketball partnerships, integrating restaurant and brand collaborations into key cultural moments.
You will also manage the full hospitality program across partnerships-building processes, optimizing experiences, and nurturing relationships with internal and external partners. This position blends strategic event planning, partner management, and cross-functional collaboration, delivering best-in-class experiences that engage fans, drive business impact, and elevate DoorDash's presence in the sports and live events space.
You'll report to the Manager, Basketball Lead, Brand Partnerships, as part of a lean and agile team shaping how DoorDash shows up in culture.
You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will:
- Manage DoorDash's basketball portfolio activations, including in-arena experiences, tentpole events (e.g., All-Star), and local fan engagement moments.
- Lead the planning, briefing, execution, and post-event recaps for all sponsorship deliverables.
- Own the hospitality process across internal and external partners to enhance employee engagement, support business growth, and create memorable experiences for fans.
- Drive local partnership programs that connect DoorDash merchants with major sports properties, amplifying visibility and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Local, Merchant, and Senior Leadership teams to deliver integrated and impactful brand experiences.

- Have 6+ years of experience in sports marketing, experiential marketing, or event activation, with a strong record of success in planning and executing live events.
- Are fan-obsessed, detail-oriented, and understand the importance of delivering exceptional brand touchpoints in every activation.
- Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, influence cross-functional teams, and engage senior leaders.
- Have a growth mindset and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments that require creativity, adaptability, and resourcefulness.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, ensuring every detail contributes to a seamless, premium experience.
- Are willing to work nights and weekends as needed, given the nature of sports and live event schedules.
