This role designs and leads end‑to‑end processes for campaign and program development focusing on operational efficiency and data‑driven methodologies. The manager works with marketing business‑line partners and stakeholders to define and unify the annual media strategy and oversee the integrated marketing project and campaign schedule. What You Will Be Doing Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and the broader marketing team to create a fully integrated, strategic marketing plan aligning to the credit union’s goals. Build and evolve a best‑in‑class marketing operations team that can adapt and scale as the credit union expands its products, services, and geographic reach. Lead development and implementation of the annual media strategy; monitor media performance and collaborate with partners to continuously optimize the media mix. Partner with marketing business lines and stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and deliver solutions through effective design, testing, and implementation. Manage relationships with external agencies and marketing partners to ensure accountability and quality delivery of marketing services. Build and strengthen the marketing operations function, including project management, and collaborate with leadership on resource planning, capacity allocation, and prioritization. Lead initiatives and develop systems and processes to streamline marketing workflow; identify tools and resources to improve efficiency and throughput. Monitor expenses and campaign costs to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Establish and maintain marketing processes, workflows, and operational standards to drive efficiencies, ensuring consistent brand experience and compliance with industry regulations and credit union guidance. Oversee the production of marketing collateral, including print materials, digital assets, advertisements, and promotional items. Stay informed about regulatory changes that impact marketing practices in the financial industry. Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and marketing technologies to continuously improve operational efficiency; provide timely, actionable insights and recommendations. Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to prepare executive‑level business cases to advocate for continued investment in marketing technology and capabilities. Serve as a leader within the marketing department, collaborating with other leaders to develop, build, and grow a best‑in‑class marketing team. About You Excellent project leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, team members, and deadlines simultaneously. Analytical mindset with strengths in data interpretation to provide actionable insights and make data‑driven decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic and outside‑the‑box approach to problem‑solving, with enthusiasm for using technology to propel marketing efficiencies and drive credit union objectives. Proven proficiency across marketing technology platforms and tools. Ability to lead and influence team members at all levels regardless of reporting structure. Keen sense for identifying strengths and developing talent among direct reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of six (6) years of experience in planning and implementing complex, multi‑channel marketing projects; experience in project management, marketing operations, or digital media placements preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing within financial services, preferably covering a diverse and broad product/service offering. Experience leading, coaching, and developing a high‑performing team. Familiarity with credit union operations, products, and services is desirable. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry. Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams with contributors at all levels within the organization. Strong understanding of current and emerging marketing technologies and best practices. Broad understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools. Proficiency with standard office equipment, computer programs, and product management software. Some travel may be required to fulfill duties, career development, and/or responsibilities.
