Butler Machinery Company, a leading Ag and Heavy Equipment dealership with over 70 years in the industry, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Marketing Specialist focused on driving recurring revenue growth through lifecycle marketing, automation, and performance-driven campaigns within our Parts, Service, and After-Sales business.
This role is ideal for a digitally fluent marketer who thrives in campaign strategy, email automation, customer segmentation, and conversion optimization. You will lead B2B promotional initiatives, build automated lifecycle journeys, and help drive parts and service growth. If you enjoy blending automation, personalization, and performance marketing to influence measurable revenue impact, this role offers the opportunity to build and scale digital programs in a high-value B2B environment. This position is based on site in Fargo, ND and works closely with our marketing, sales, and service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy, Planning, and Management:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that support business objectives for Parts, Service, and After-Sales Support.
- Lead the strategy and execution of recurring monthly B2B promotional campaigns across parts and service categories.
- Build integrated, multi-channel campaigns across email, web, social, and paid channels.
- Define audience segmentation strategies and value propositions to drive engagement and conversion.
- Establish campaign KPIs tied to revenue performance, lifecycle engagement, and digital adoption.
- Analyze campaign performance, optimize based on data insights, and evaluate marketing return on investment.
- Manage promotional cycles while maintaining strategic consistency.
- Drive recurring revenue initiatives within a high-frequency B2B parts and service environment.
Lifecycle Marketing & Automation:
- Design and scale automated email journeys including activations, reactivations, and behavioral triggers.
- Develop automation workflows leveraging CRM and marketing platforms to improve retention and repeat purchases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to explore advanced automation initiatives.
- Execute structured A/B testing across subject lines, messaging, timing, segmentation, and offers to improve performance over time.
- Align marketing automation programs with key customer lifecycle milestones, including service events, usage triggers, and renewal opportunities.
Customer Journey & Content Development:
- Map and optimize post-sale customer journeys to increase engagement, retention, and repeat purchase behavior.
- Identify friction points within the digital buying experience and recommend conversion improvements.
- Develop journey-based messaging and content aligned to ownership milestones and renewal opportunities.
- Optimize landing pages and promotional paths to improve digital conversion performance.
- Align marketing touchpoints with lifecycle milestones to increase long-term customer value.
Social & Digital Engagement:
- Develop and manage content calendars supporting aftermarket promotions.
- Execute organic and paid social strategies aligned with parts and service initiatives.
- Build targeted audiences and retargeting strategies to support promotional cadence and drive repeat engagement.
- Measure channel contribution to campaign performance and refine targeting based on engagement and conversion data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Parsio, Zapier, or equivalent(s).
- Experience in website, keyword, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to set goals, define strategies, and execute marketing plans effectively.
- Experience with social media management and digital content creation.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing performance and optimize strategies.
