Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the mass spectrometry lab, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Oversee the development and execution of lab projects, maintaining timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support scientific research initiatives.
  • Implement and refine laboratory protocols, optimizing workflows and enhancing data accuracy.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instruments to ensure peak performance.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in mass spectrometry and related methodologies to drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with mass spectrometry in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of mass spectrometry principles, techniques, and instrumentation.
  • Proven track record in managing laboratory operations and project teams effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety regulations and best practices.
