As a full-time remote Massachusetts Billing Associate, the successful candidate will manage revenue recognition, obtain authorizations, and perform eligibility checks, acting as a liaison between Operations and Finance departments. Key responsibilities Obtain eligibility and initial authorizations for new admissions and unfunded persons served Utilize billing systems to capture service entry, admissions, discharges, and transfers prior to billing Review attendance and meal counts for accuracy and reconcile service capture for all payers before billing Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with Massachusetts State Specific Insurance required Minimum of one year of experience in medical administration and/or medical billing Knowledge of Autism and behavioral health services Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
