Pay Range: $37 - $45 /hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Industrial Master Electrician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing/industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of electrical codes, and experience working with high-voltage and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, motor controls, drives, and automation equipment
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
  • Supervise and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical failures in production equipment
  • Work with engineering and maintenance teams to improve system reliability
  • Manage electrical projects from planning to completion
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

Qualifications

  • Active Master Electrician License (required)
  • 7+ years of industrial electrical experience
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, transformers, and power distribution systems
  • Experience working in manufacturing, processing, or heavy industrial environments
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with automation and robotics
  • High-voltage system experience
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Experience working in food processing, automotive, energy, or heavy manufacturing
