Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Master Machinist to set up, operate, and program CNC machinery, including mills, lathes, and other equipment, in Brea, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, programming, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and meet high standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
• Perform trial runs, troubleshoot machining issues, and make precise adjustments to ensure quality and dimensional standards are met.
• Maintain, update, and document CNC programs to support efficient production.
• Collaborate with engineers, production planners, and quality control personnel to address machining issues and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a machinist, with proven expertise in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Proficiency in G-code programming.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
