Shift: 6 AM 2:30 PM or 7 AM 3:30 PM
Job Description:
- As a Material Flow Engineer, for the client in Horicon Works located in Horicon, WI, you will support the strategic alignment of material flow processes and strategies within the factory.
In addition, you will:
- Lead and facilitate projects of moderate scope supporting material movement, storage and presentation.
- Train stakeholders on material flow processes and tools.
- Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Planning to support processes and analysis related to warehouse, transportation, and inter-factory logistics.
- Support the factory continuous improvement, 5S and visual factory initiatives.
Skills desired for the assignment:
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Process-oriented with initiative in problem solving, identifying solutions, and sustaining results.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Industrial Engineering background.
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Python and other related data management software.
Education:
- Preferred bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar engineering field preferred.
- The manager is open to recent grads.
Tops skills-
- IE background, warehouse material flow experience, Data analytics- Python/robotic automation Experience (Entry level).
