Our Home is looking for a reliable and experienced Material Handler to support our operations. This role ensures all raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies are moved safely, accurately, and on time to keep production running smoothly.
You’ll work closely to issue materials, stage and load outbound shipments, and help maintain inventory accuracy and organization. Safety, attention to detail, and teamwork are key in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply production lines with raw materials in a timely and accurate manner.
- Wrap finished product pallets and stage them in the appropriate shipping lanes.
- Perform material verifications and inventory counts as needed.
- Pick LTL shipments for dispatch, record lot numbers, and ensure proper documentation.
- Count, verify, rotate, and store raw materials; maintain segregation between organic/non-organic and allergen/non-allergen items.
- Load and unload trucks as directed; apply appropriate labels and documentation.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring 18” white access lines are kept clear.
- Interpret reports and order status sheets to ensure materials are correctly issued and tracked.
- Restock raw materials after production, ensuring pallets are clean, organized, and properly labeled.
- Operate floor-cleaning equipment and maintain debris-free warehouse and dock areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Sit-down Forklift experience
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work overtime as needed.
- Knowledge of basic inventory practices and material handling standards.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive in supporting plant operations.
