Material Handler Apply
Job Description: The Material Handler is responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. In addition, the Material Handler responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (i.e. receiving, running lines, and shipping) in assigned Operations facility.
Must have: Must have warehouse experience, at least 2 contractors need to have had recent forklift experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Efficiently locate & pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels for production; ability to accurately verify parts & quantities and complete BOLs to receive and/or ship material.
Licensed and can operate all material handling equipment (i.e. Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) at assigned Operations facility.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment in assigned Operations facility.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards; follow all safe procedures and practices in assembling and testing of all models in your job function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience directly working with material handling equipment (forklift, tugger, etc.), inventory management in a warehouse or manufacturing environment or an evaluated equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
Six (6) months of applicable position experience.
Ability to become forklift certified to operate a forklift/tugger to receive and deliver parts safely and efficiently.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes.
Experience using warehouse technology or electronics.
Experience with ship confirming.
