Job title: Material Handler

Duration: 3+ months

Location: El Paso TX

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The material handler will be responsible for handling and moving materials in a warehouse or production environment.

Essential functions:

• Process material for kitting orders on time delivery.
• Complete inventory transactions for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all safety company regulations and the use of PPE in the area.
• Exhibit a strong adherence to quality when provide material.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

• Specialized knowledge or skills required:

• Customer Focus; Managing and Measuring Work; Drive for Results; Problem Solving; Timely Decision Making; Learning on the Fly; Priority Setting; Conflict Management.
• Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Experience on using and maintaining MRP
• Quantitative analysis expertise
• Interpersonal communication skills

• Need's to be multifunctional

Education and Minimum Experience Requirements:

• High school from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1+ years prior Manufacturing experience or related field
• External candidates must be legally authorized to work within the United States without company sponsorship.
• Internal candidates (current Eaton employees) must currently work in the United States
• Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and use of software application(s) is required.
• Available to work overtime when required.
• Able to lift/carry/push/ pull 35lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English / Spanish
• 1+ year of experience in warehouse setting.
