We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our manufacturing facility. Why join us: Be a part of a team leading the world's electrification of mass mobility Competitive wages and comprehensive benefit package with immediate benefit eligibility Paid holidays and vacation 401K with generous company match / or Registered pension plan with generous company match Passionate about creating a better product, a better workplace, and a better world Inclusive workplace culture that values and empowers team members On-the-job training in a continuous learning environment (we invested $15.9 million in 2024) Advancement opportunities within our family of companies What you will do: Lives and role models the company values and culture at all times Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials Coordinate with production teams to understand material needs and schedules Select and prepare materials for production processes efficiently and safely Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products as needed Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment efforts Adhere to safety and quality standards in all handling and storage practices What you need to be successful: High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred Proven experience in a material handling or warehouse role Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset Familiarity with inventory management systems and software such as ERP/WMS systems Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team Must be certified or become certified to use forklift equipment Physical & Workplace Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (75 lbs. with assistance), perform repetitive movements (bending, kneeling, crouching), and work on elevated surfaces or in confined spaces Must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods (8+ hours) Requires visual acuity to read diagnostics and inspect components, as well as sufficient hearing ability to detect vehicle noises and alarms Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including noise, dust, fumes, and fluctuations in temperature, while wearing PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and relevant HV PPE) Strong safety awareness and strict adherence to workplace procedures Onsite work required, 40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with potential for overtime on Friday and Saturday.
