Material Handler (Machine Shop)

Material HandlerHighland, NY Full-Time Compenstation: $18.00 - $19.00 We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Material Handler to support our Machine Shop operations. This role is critical in ensuring materials are received, stored, and delivered efficiently to keep production running safely and smoothly.ResponsibilitiesReceive and organize incoming materials into inventoryStore materials safely and in proper locationsStage raw materials for machine shop workstationsManage material flow throughout the shop floorSupport machine operators as neededPerform ERP/system transactions accuratelyAssist with identifying and creating storage locationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety policies and PPE requirementsQualificationsMinimum 2 years of machine shop or manufacturing experienceForklift certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to read blueprints and schematicsFamiliarity with manufacturing processesComfortable using hand tools and measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable with repetitive movements (lifting, bending, pushing, pulling)Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environmentCompany ProfileSelux Corporation has a successful track record of tremendous growth and sustainability as a world-wide manufacturer of architecturally designed luminaires, nestled right here in the Hudson Valley.
