As a Material Tester, you will support our Construction Management (CM) team. This role is expected to be full-time (40 hours) throughout the summer, transitioning to part-time in the fall. Department: Construction Management Location: Layton, UT Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour Core Responsibilities: Work with construction managers, inspectors, testers, surveyors, and office staff to successfully complete projects. Perform field sampling and testing, including laboratory testing per UDOT and other agency procedures. Complete test reports and documentation per agency requirements. Collaborate with UDOT construction crews or other agency personnel in an augmentation role. Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies: 0-2 years of relevant experience. Preferred certification as Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I under ACI. Certification under WAQTC SRDT guidelines for Sampling and Density. Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. Willingness to work day or night shifts as needed.
