Job Title: Materials Administration
The Materials Administration role at New Flyer is crucial for supporting the Material Department to achieve its objectives effectively. The position involves overseeing material flow, data management, and ensuring compliance with inventory protocols. The Materials Administrator plays an essential part in facilitating communication across departments and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Materials team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor material inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
2. Assist in the implementation of best practices for materials management.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve processes.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material handling and inventory adjustments.
5. Conduct regular audits of material flows and inventory accuracy.
6. Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance personal and team capabilities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools.
- Experience in a materials or supply chain role is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- Relevant experience or education in supply chain management or materials administration is an asset.
