PAY RATE: $32/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: This is a clearance-eligible role; candidate must have the ability to obtain clearance if needed.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Receiving parts from external suppliers and updating the program's inventory database.

  • Conducting inventory control and logistics to ensure parts and materials can be located and assembled into build kits.

  • Assembling build kits and issuing them to manufacturing, adjusting the inventory database to reflect materials issued.

  • Supporting the immediate release of replacement parts as necessary and assisting with incoming receiving.

  • Tracking and maintaining site data packages, revision control, and serving as the gatekeeper for configuration change implementation.

  • Supporting general hardware organization and integration activities in the program's laboratories.

  • Maintaining HAZMAT materials in designated areas until kits are built and released to production.

  • Maintain program inventory accountability from acquisition to final disposition, coordinating, preparing, and documenting applicable forms in accordance with government regulations, customer contracts, or corporate policy.

  • Support program inventory and kitting requirements to meet program/manufacturing needs.

  • Stock parts into controlled inventory for easy retrieval.

  • Maintain program databases to track delivery and ensure completion of assembly kits.

Requirements:

  • This is a clearance-eligible role; candidate must have the ability to obtain clearance if needed.

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a fast-paced office environment, preferably inventory control or laboratory support in aerospace/defense, or equivalent experience.

  • Basic knowledge of standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures in a manufacturing/inspection environment.

  • Basic understanding of Bill of Materials structures.

  • Ability to multi-task across projects while maintaining data accuracy.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Experience with SAP Business ByDesign or S4/HANA is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • No security clearance required, but must have the ability to obtain one if needed.

  • Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.

  • Able to work overtime as required.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
