The Role You Will Play 6-8 Direct Reports Own the flow of materials from purchase to production, keeping the right parts in the right place at the right time—no last-minute scrambles, no dugout excuses. Build and maintain supplier relationships that value consistency, accountability, and fair play, while negotiating pricing and lead times that hold up over a long season. Monitor inventory levels, demand patterns, and usage trends to reduce waste, avoid shortages, and keep operations running smoothly even during peak stretches. Partner closely with production, planning, and finance to align materials strategy with operational goals, solving problems early instead of reacting late.
