This individual will oversee materials planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier coordination to ensure seamless production operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead materials planning and inventory control to support production schedulesManage procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiations, and purchase ordersPartner with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to forecast material needsMonitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce shortages and excessMaintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materialsAnalyze data to improve cost efficiency, lead times, and material flowSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chainRequirements2-5+ years of materials management or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong background in procurement/purchasingExperience with ERP/MRP systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production settingStrong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
