Job summary: We are looking for a Math Teacher who believes that high expectations and strong relationships go hand in hand. The right candidate will be committed to helping students build confidence in mathematics while developing the persistence and problem-solving skills that support long-term success. Essential job functions are as follows but not limited to: Plan and teach Mathematics courses Build motivation and interest in learning Prepare effectively for class and provide documentation of students' progress Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to use research-based practices Develop an environment that supports student learning Education and experience: Bachelor's degree Content area teaching certificate is preferred but not required at the time of hire Teachers will need to obtain a Pennsylvania certification, and the school will support staff in completing the required coursework and process.
