For the complete Position Statement, please click Here Duties and Responsibilities Teach five sections of Mathematics and Computer Science in the Upper School, a majority of which will be in the Mathematics Department (anticipated) Preferred: Creates and teaches college level courses in Mathematics and/or Computer Science Designs and delivers student-centered instruction that scaffolds students toward learning goals Collaborates within a department to review and revise curriculum for vertical articulation Participates in a professional culture committed to growth and reflective practice currently implementing Grading for Equity Creates safe, inclusive spaces to nurture student diversity Differentiates curriculum and instruction to serve students of diverse readiness levels, cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and interests Discerns effective technological tools and resources to facilitate learning Prioritizes, organizes, and teaches content knowledge in service of developing 21st century competencies Partner with Student Support Team, administration, and families Support important mission-based programming through advisory and campus ministry retreats Preferred: Coaches a sport or moderates a club or affinity space A helpful note: the exact teaching assignment is subject to change based on the qualifications and experience of our new teacher.
