Currently this position is a 1st shift position (10 hour shift Monday-Thursday), however, the individual must be willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when required.

Currently we have an excellent full-time employment opportunity available in our Blairsville, PA facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble transit wheel set assemblies and their components, using proper fixtures, mechanical devices and hydraulic presses.
- Dimensional inspection, documentation and assembly of transit wheel set assemblies and components.
- Test requalified or manufactured product to specifications
- Perform magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection (if certified)
- Clean, mask, paint or apply coatings to components.
- Prepare parts and assemblies for shipment
- Detailed documentation and recordkeeping
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical assembly experience or training certification in a related field preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Accuracy in completing reports/documentation and with reading and understanding written directions and procedures
- Machine shop environment background preferred
- Self-motivated and willing to work with minimal supervision
