Join our 'ohana and be a part of an exciting team of professionals dedicated to serving our kama'?ina and introducing our islands to the world!Key Responsibilities:Will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, hydraulic systems, automatic and standard transmissions and all other aspects of ground equipment repair.Will troubleshoot and repair all ground equipment such as FMC container loaders, 28.5V DC and 115V A/C ground power units, hydrant fuelers, tanker trucks, forklifts and other related ground equipment.Overhaul of automatic transmissions.Will repair parts for all ground equipment and fabricate as necessary.Pay and BenefitsThe pay rate for this position is $28.85/hr. Medical, dental and vision benefits are provided in accordance with the collective bargaining agreementRequirementsMinimum Requirements:Must have minimum of two (2) years of work experience in automotive or related fieldMust have a minimum of two (2) years in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, hydraulic systems, automatic transmission and all other aspects of ground equipment repairMust have general welding knowledgeMust have general auto body and paint knowledgeMust have diesel engine knowledge and repair experienceMust have current Driver's License and be able to obtain airport vehicle operator's permit, AOA badge and Customs SealMust have high school diploma or its equivalent**Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position. Failure to submit to testing or positive indications of drug use will render the applicant ineligible for employment with Hawaiian Airlines and any employment offer will be withdrawn.*** In addition to routine employment eligibility verification, U.S.-based airlines must gather information to validate country of citizenship and country of birth.
