Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on innovative, custom-built machinery and see your designs come to life from concept to completion? Join a dynamic team where your expertise will directly impact cutting-edge projects in the sheet metal industry.This is a permanent, full-time role—ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.Duties & Responsibilities:Designing custom machinery from concept through to final assembly for sheet metal industry.Providing complete and accurate engineering packages including design, technical drawings with GD&T, calculation within budget and to agreed timeline.Support and facilitate design reviews and sign off the release of mechanical designs in ERP system.Work with outside suppliers to design products/equipment, which meet the design specification and are capable of cost-effective manufacture.Timely action of engineering change requests in accordance with company procedures, and progress them through the design office to completion.Researching background information from a variety of sources in support of mechanical design decisions.Skills & Qualifications:Mechanical Engineering Degree3+ year Experience in similar technical rolesExperience in machine design and calculationsFamiliarity with FEA simulation, dynamics/mechanical analysisWorking knowledge of Solidworks or other similar CAD packagesMicrosoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)Experience in creating technical drawings, documentation, and specificationsGood understanding of engineering calculations, material properties, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine elements, automation, and controlDay shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMCompensation: starting at $30/hour, with potential for a higher rate based on experienceIf you're ready to take the next step in your engineering career, apply today or reach out to learn more!
