We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and help drive the future of packaging equipment for the pharmaceutical industry!Responsibilities:Design & DevelopmentCreate 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks). Collaborate with vendors to select components and resolve manufacturing challenges, all while staying within budget.Prototyping & TestingSupport the testing and validation of mechanical components to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork alongside electrical engineers, project managers, and assembly technicians throughout the design and build process. Provide hands-on support during assembly and participate in project reviews.DocumentationPrepare detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, recommended parts lists, and technical reports.Continuous ImprovementParticipate in internal design reviews and contribute ideas to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all designs adhere to pharmaceutical industry standards (cGMP, FDA, ISO).Customer CommunicationInteract with customers during design reviews, project updates, and factory acceptance testing to ensure expectations are met.s.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldFamiliarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processesWorking knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drawing standardsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office productsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPrevious internship, job, or project experience in automation or machine design is a plus but not required.
