Primary Function This will be responsible for the design, installation, and startup of process equipment and components. Candidates must have extensive design experience with demonstrated project management skills. Duties & Responsibilities Design, installation, and startup processes for major equipment projects throughout the global organization. Coordinate with global manufacturing groups regarding new equipment design, tooling design, equipment installation, etc. Training and process documentation. Improve existing manufacturing processes. Coordination of preventative maintenance for laboratory equipment. Systematic problem solving skills. Process capability, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R and other quality tools. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of applicable experience. Must be proficient in SolidWorks and ACAD. Extensive experience in mechanical assembly and equipment troubleshooting. Proven skills in tooling design and fabrication. Capable of specifying automated process equipment. Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Position could require some domestic and international travel working on projects related to the development, testing and evaluation of industrial equipment for production facilities.
