They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar4 or more years of industry experience working in similar Mechanical Design role Ideally have some experience with process equipment and automationKnowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation Excellent proficiency with CAD software – SolidWorks is desirable Good mathematical and general engineering knowledgeThe ability to understand system requirementsBe self-motivated with excellent attention to detailHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAble to travel nationally and internationally on occasion The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsLeading client projects to convert ideas into designs Working on new product conceptsBeing involved in the product design and development process using CADLeading manufacture, construction, installation and maintenance documentationWorking with high precision instrumentation productsPerform detailed calculationsConducting design reviewsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
