Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Heavy Equipment
Location: Wyoming, MN (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience designing heavy equipment and structural components using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welded frames, chassis, heavy-gauge sheet metal, aluminum fabrication, FEA, GD&T, and DFM, supporting products from concept through production. Experience in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, military vehicles, or commercial trucks is highly preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of Mechanical Design experience
• 3+ years of SolidWorks experience
• Design of welded structures, chassis, heavy-gauge sheet metal, and aluminum components
• SolidWorks Simulation (FEA)
• GD&T, DFM, engineering drawings, BOMs
• Product development from concept to production
• Prototype development and testing
• Strong collaboration with manufacturing and production teams
