Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of specialized industrial equipment, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting project development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, precision, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Rancocas, New Jersey What's the Job? Develop detailed mechanical drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) under the guidance of a Project Engineer. Execute machine design for furnace components and subsystems, ensuring functionality, durability, and efficiency. Perform engineering calculations to validate design integrity and compliance with industry standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams and customers. Participate in on-site field visits for installation, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning as part of training and professional development. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in capital equipment or industrial machinery. Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drafting software. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, including component selection, materials, and system integration.
