NX Tooling Designer - Saginaw, Michigan
Day Shift position with OT
Pay Rate: max pay rate $33.00 per hour (based on proven work history)

NX Tooling Designer job description:
The Designer does primarily guarding and cat tracks designs with other design types to be assigned as required. These designs consist of new design, revisions, reverse engineering, Client-outs, rework instructions, details design and others. The objective is to provide quality designs and build prints per the customers requirements to internal reviews.

• Review and interpret Job Line-up sheets
• Create 3D Models
• Create drawings for 3D models
• Revise provided drawings when necessary
• Design per Customer Standards and Specifications
• Ensure all Builds and Non-conformances are updated on drawings
• Create change information for estimating
• Fills out or reviews control line-up forms per designated project
• Ensures design are cost effective
• Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/environmental concerns
• Adhere to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate degree (A.A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 1-2 years of NX tooling design experience
• Experience designing guarding and cat tracks
