Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer / Technical Lead

Location: North Hollywood, CA 91605 (100% On-site)

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Extension Possible)

Trilyon is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer / Technical Lead to support engineering design, product development, and manufacturing initiatives. The Mechanical Design Engineer / Technical Lead will play a key role in guiding engineering teams, managing technical deliverables, and ensuring successful execution of new product introduction and sustaining engineering projects.

The Mechanical Design Engineer / Technical Lead will collaborate closely with design engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure the successful development and release of engineering solutions. This role involves leading technical discussions, supporting product development processes, and ensuring that engineering designs align with manufacturing requirements and customer expectations.

The Mechanical Design Engineer / Technical Lead will also be responsible for managing technical tasks such as data segregation, triaging engineering issues, reviewing non-conforming materials, and supporting reliability investigations. Additionally, the Mechanical Design Engineer / Technical Lead will guide offshore teams, provide technical leadership, and work directly with customers to understand requirements and implement engineering solutions effectively.

• Work as Technical Lead to guide and mentor engineering teams and offshore resources.

• Lead technical deliverables and ensure engineering tasks are executed efficiently and accurately.

• Provide technical inputs during business requirement discussions and project planning.

• Support technology development and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.

• Design and lead development of engineering modules and product release processes.

• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful product development and deployment.

• Support manufacturing engineering activities including production modifications and process improvements.

• Manage non-conforming material reviews and reliability investigations.

• Address engineering issues related to production support and product lifecycle management.

• Interact with customers to understand engineering requirements and implement effective solutions.

• Provide technical recommendations and collaborate with stakeholders to improve engineering processes.

• Perform data segregation and triaging activities for engineering data and project deliverables.

• Develop and implement methods and processes for task flow, control, and execution.

• Strong experience in mechanical design engineering and product development.

• Background in manufacturing engineering and production support environments.

• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks or CATIA for mechanical design and product modeling.

• Experience creating and reviewing engineering design documentation and technical drawings.

• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining engineering projects.

• Knowledge of production modification processes, reliability tracking, and engineering investigations.

• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating offshore resources.

• Ability to manage technical deliverables and guide engineering development activities.

• Experience performing data segregation, issue triaging, and engineering process optimization.

• Strong experience interacting with customers to gather requirements and implement engineering solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
